Our Story
HeartwiseCardio was founded in 2014 by Dr. Eleni Petridou, an interventional cardiologist trained at AHEPA University Hospital and the Royal Brompton in London, after fifteen years of split shifts between public hospital catheter labs and rushed private consultations. She had seen too many patients leave a fifteen-minute appointment with a prescription and three unanswered questions, and too many ECGs read in isolation from the person attached to them. She opened a small clinic on Mitropoleos Street in central Thessaloniki with a single rule: every first appointment would be at least forty-five minutes, and every report would be explained to the patient in the same room, on the same day.
